To Whom it May Concern,
Hello folks my name is Dusty Fisher, and I grew up in Nevada. Honestly, for the most part there isn't anything nice about Nevada. Casinos, wind, and desert seem to take over the state. However, there is one little teeny tiny corner of the state that IS nice-very, very nice. This mid western corner of Nevada is home to the Carson Valley. The snowcapped Sierra Nevada mountains along with Lake Tahoe being our neighbor is only the beginning of why love this town. I was born and raised in this area, and I am very grateful to be able to call that place home. Not only was I blessed with an awesome hometown, but I grew up with the best family ever, with two parents and two brothers that will mentor me my whole entire life.
I am currently a sophomore a Boise State university. Not only am I grateful for the opportunity to make the most of a college education from BSU, but I get to play football here in the process, which I look at as a very important and productive bonus. I have always wanted to be the best at whatever I do, which has allowed me to take advantage of the many blessings and opportunities I have had the chance to take on in my life. I plan on graduating here in 2018 with a degree in Education. I will teach secondary education, and I am also interested in taking on what many teachers steer away from- teaching the dreaded middle schoolers of our time. I have always been interested in connecting with people, and I want that to translate into my ability to teach adolescants the Human Anatomy and/or Health in my future.
I look at myself as a fairly frank person. One may say that I am a "thinker" and not a "feeler". I use my brain. I do a good job at using my head and making decisions that will allow me to be the best person I can be. I have been blessed with two unbelievably awesome parents who helped mold me into the person I am today. If I had to give general advice to the world, I would simply tell people to relax. The world throws all kinds of crap at you, and people who attempt to control everything will just bury themsleves in he process. Control what you can, and let life happen. All you can do is make good decisions. Good decisions will point you in the right direction-trust that.
